Triple Diamond 4WD Club welcomes new and existing members to the Winter Training Weekend.
The weekend will be held at Rydal Showground (Theory & Camping) with driving to be undertaken in Rydal and surrounds.
A detailed information flyer will be emailed to all attendees the week prior to the training weekend which will outline what to bring, expect, driving conditions and the planned schedule for the weekend.

Intermediate Training.

Intermediate training weekend for those members willing to expand their knowledge and further understand techniques of 4 wheel driving….
In this intermediate weekend, members will re-affirm their knowledge and work to further their understanding of wheel placement and learning the skills of giving directions to other vehicles and what to look for. Recovery methods and techniques will also be reviewed discussed.
Ideally, intermediate training is offered to members who have been in the club not less than 12 months with about 6 or more club trips up their sleeve.
Camping will take place in Rydal showground, joining the new members, the trainers team and the parallel trip convoys, with driving and demonstration undertaken in Rydal and Surrounds.

Weekend Side Trip.

Come explore Turon and Sofala and The Gardens of Stone on a bit a reccie of the area. We will camp at Rydal Show Grounds along with the training trips so please remember to bring $25 per night for camping,
Feel free to come up on the Friday night or Saturday morning. We will be leaving from the show ground at 9am on both days and trip will be a C Grade trip with minimum requirements of recovery points, AT tyres and recovery gear.
The plan on Sunday is to finish near Lithgow/Rydal so those that need to get trailers etc can before returning home. On the Saturday we are going to travel along the Turon river to Sofala before returning to Rydal for the evening and on the Sunday depending on the reopening of Baal Bone we may do this track or head for Lost City opposite.
